Packing Guide

  • Bible – electronic not permitted
  • Sleeping bag or twin size bedding and pillow – nights can be cold, bring an extra blanket if your camper runs cold at night
  • 6 Days worth of clothing – packed in a bag or container that your camper can manage
    • 6 pairs of Shorts/Pants/Bottoms – below the knee
    • 6 shirts – no sleeveless or inappropriate messaging
    • “Theme” Shirt/Outift for Friday – Red, White, and Blue! – in honor of the Summer Olympics!
    • 6 pairs of socks and undies
    • Pajamas – however many your camper needs for 6 nights
    • An extra outfit is always a great idea – You know your camper, if they get extremely sweaty or need to change after getting wet then they need additional outfits.
    • 2 pairs of tennis shoes – no sandals – Pack an extra pair in case one gets wet
    • Sweatshirt/hoodie/jacket for chilly mornings and nights
    • Rain coat or poncho if calling for rain
  • Shower Supplies
    • Shower shoes – these can be sandals but are not to be worn outside of shower houses
    • Toiletries – toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, body and face wash, lotion, moisturizer, DEODORANT, contact case and solution, glasses and case, feminine products, etc.
    • Shower caddy or bag to tote items to shower house
    • Hair brush, hair ties, and detangler spray
    • Towel and washrag/pouf – however many your camper needs for 6 nights
  • If signed up for Swimming:
    • Beach towel
    • Modest swim wear
    • Modest cover up for going to and from cabin – campers can change at pool house
  • Flashlight
  • Water bottle – Clearly labeled with camper’s name
  • Laundry bag or trash bag or for dirty clothes
  • Bug spray, sunscreen, and hat
  • Medicine – labeled and turned into the nurse at check-in
  • Candy Store money – turned into treasurer at check-in
  • Camp forms – signed and notarized – turned into director at check-in
  • Camp payment if not already paid – turned into treasurer at check-in
  • Helpful tips:
    • Use a fine point sharpie to label items – write on tags or seams to avoid bleeding through – labeled items are less likely to be lost
    • For littles, put their daily outfits in a gallon size ziploc bag – lay shorts on floor, place shirt, socks and undies on top, then roll and put in bag
    • Write names in the front of their Bible and on their water bottle
    • Ensure your camper has all they need to be comfortable, but remember the more items they bring, the more they are responsible for
